Little Inventors is a creative education organisation that inspires imagination by taking children’s amazing ideas seriously.
Our Mission
To give children across the world the opportunity to develop and showcase their creativity and problem-solving skills, build their confidence, curiosity and resilience to become caring citizens of our planet, all invaluable attributes that will support them as adults in their everyday life and chosen career paths.
How we do this...
Invent
We create free resources for organisations, teachers and parents to encourage children to think up and draw great invention ideas. We work with partners to run challenges, events and workshops!
Make
We challenge skilled experts and makers to work with children to turn their ideas into reality, from the practical to the fantastical, no limits.
Show
We showcase children’s inventions online and in books and exhibitions to inspire tomorrow’s inventors, scientists, makers and problem-solvers to believe in their ability to make a difference.
Little Inventors Pioneers
The Pioneers programme has given us the opportunity to test out new types of engagement with our little inventors, one of them is this online exhibition, which we hope will be the first of many.
It has also allowed us to work with new partners in the North East and engage with children that we might not have been able to otherwise or who may not get as many opportunities to take part in creative projects like this.
We have learnt a lot and are always keen to keep learning, so we are very happy to hear about new ways to bring Little Inventors to children across the world, so get in touch if you want to work with us!
