Reminder
Leon created not one, not two, but FIVE inventions when he took part in the Energy Challenge at a workshop at Seaton Valley library. The Reminder is doubly energy clever as it not only creates, BUT ALSO saves energy. Leon got inspired by thinking about his sister, who often forgets to shut the door.

Invention Story
"Tells to shut the door. It uses spring energy. Spring to harness energy each time the door is opened and closed to light up the warning sign to tell people to close the door."

Leon came along to the Pioneers session that took place at Preston Park Museum in January to meet the Little Inventors team and to explore his idea further.
We love how busy Leon has been at home, using his Inventor's log and coming up with lots of fantastic invention ideas like the Toaster and Topping Machine.
Animator Gary Pogue, had a video call with Leon and his mum to talk through how Gary was bringing the Reminder to life and to get Leon's feedback.
